Who are we?
The association is run by a board that takes care of the mosque. The board consists of seven members who represent different groups in society.
We have created this website to provide information about Islam, our mosque, and our activities. We hope that through this we can help society get a clear picture of us as Muslims and of Islam as a religion.
Our vision is that our mosque becomes a source of knowledge, understanding and tolerance for all people in our area and the rest of the world.
Our Mosque
Located in Kungsmarken area, Karlskrona city. The premises are 350 square meters with an upper floor that can accommodate about 400 people who visit the mosque on various occasions.
Many Muslims gather to perform the prayer five times daily, as well as to listen to the Imam’s teachings.
The mosque is not only a spiritual place but also a cultural environment, since all the members come originally from different countries. Here we gather under a roof of love and brotherhood.
Community
The Muslim community is made up of over 30 different nationalities. Diversity creates a unique opportunity for each ethnic group to mix with other groups and reduce the distance between them.
We look forward to strengthening our cooperation with both authorities and private individuals to maintain the values of tolerance and understanding between Swedish society and all minorities in Sweden.
In the mosque, prayer is the most important communal activity that brings people together. in addition, there are other activities such as language lessons, Islamic knowledge lessons, Koran recitation and explanation lessons.
